Ten young ladies will vie this year for the honor of being crowned Mutya ng Magpet. The Search for Mutya ng Magpet 2009, part of the town’s 46th Foundation Anniversary celebration from August 7- 13, promises to be different according to this year’s search committee.
The beauty and brains competition is open to ladies of good moral standing aged 16 years old. Ladies living outside Magpet may join the search provided theu have relatives living in the town.
The talent elimination will be on August 10, during which a musical and dance sport competition will also be held, while the pageant proper will be on August 11 at 6:30 in the evening. (Crisaldy G. Villasand) |
